I am a huge fan of vintage Halloween and have collected it for a long time. When you start looking at old pieces you realize how lame things are today. The styling of the old stuff is amazing and often overlooked in my opinion. Some of my favorite things are the cardboard die cut items from the 40's, most of it was made in Germany, these are highly collectable and sought after pieces. Then there are the vintage jack-o-lanterns made of paper mache. These have been out since the early 1900's, and kids would put candles in them to light up the transparent faces they had. I'm really glad to see some one posted a thread about this! Here are pics of some of my collection...
