Thanks again for the positive comments on the paint up.
I have seen a few other collectors paint up these Rocky busts that tend to overdue the blood/bruising. I wanted a suddle light bruising effect that did not overpower the overall look.
The more I paint the caucasian skin tones it tends to be a little less difficult. I basically eyeball the mixes to get a desired skin tone & that way you never get the exact same skin tone twice.
With the amount of money that you can save by painting up your own pieces you can put it toward future projects/busts.
