Quote:well to be honest I\'ve though about it. But there\'s another glove maker that does most of his work by machine, and it\'s clean and fast. But it just feels \'wrong\' to me somehow. Making the gloves is an art form, (whether some can accept that or not) just like sculpting. Only you\'re sculpting with metal. To have machines do some of the work for me seems like it would defeat the purpose of why I make them to begin with. I make them by hand, cuz \'the burned guy\' would have made them by hand. He wouldn\'t have a machine cutting the templates or blades out for him, he\'d grind it.I hear ya bro. !00% your own is the only way to go.
But yeah, grinding blades does suck and takes quite a bit longer then people realize. Especially the part 1 and 2 blades since they\'re thin and curved.
uhm, I guess the shortest answer is. I like that they\'re 100% made by hand, hopefully other people/collectors will too. It\'s more time consuming, but I like the end product better. Especially since I\'ve been over and over every inch of it personally.
