Quote:pitch is relative. as long as the notes have the proper intervals between them, the guitar will sound in tune.good point!
btw, if you tune it one half step sharp, it becomes.
F
C
A flat
E flat
B flat
F
but it still wouldn\'t matter as long as the guitar is in tune with itself. It only become a problem if you\'re trying to play along with a tape or other people.
I always use to tune to Metallica records when I was a kid. Whole lotta open low \'E\' strings to tune to. Hell, I learned to play by playing along with the first 4 tapes. (back when people actually bought tapes.)
and oh yeah, $500. is nothing for a good guitar. I personally wouldn\'t spend less then that, but I\'m a Les Paul guy.
it really doesn\'t matter actually how tight your strings are, you would just have to improvise your chords. trust me, i\'ve been improvising for a LONG time now. You get used to it. Like I said before 500 could and could not be a cheap price for a guitar. I was kinda like JV someone hooked me up w/ a les paul!
