It\'s not too much of a problem if drilled out doors or you use a simple dust mask. Unlike most Fiberglass makers, I use mesh cloth rather than loose fibers. For sanding, I use wet sandpaper under running water, works fine. Or you could use the dust mask for this process also.
I see the risk being about as much as spray paint residue, I know all painters use a mask when painting, right?
Anyway, when proper ventilation is used Fiberglass is the only way to go. (When done right!) IMO.
