There are some things that are acceptable to wait a year for. But a latex mask or a plastic hockey mask?! HELL no.
There are excuses for some long waits in the prop world for larger, more detailed, or simply more accurate items. With accuracy comes extra special care in detailing, cutting, painting, or whatever. Be that as it may, it does not excuse a 1, 2 or even 3 year-long wait for a simple hockey mask and/or latex head. I don\'t buy something so I can sit around and wait on it for a year. I buy it because I WANT IT. In my house. On my head or a stand. As soon as possible.
I have a mask on order right now that\'s taken nearly 4 months to complete....It\'s nearing the final stages, but in that amount of time, it\'s gone through three full repaints. Meaning, in the time it takes another equally incredible mask maker to not even get CLOSE to starting on my mask, I could have had this guy make THREE with the same great quality (We\'re taking it to a higher level than that, though...) completely done and shipped to me already! That\'s insane.
