from personal experience only, I have two xboxes, as well as two gamecubes and I have never had a single problem from any of them. The two ps2s i have owned, however, are a different story. One of them just stopped reading games and would only read dvds. It finally got to the point where it would only read dvds sometimes, so i threw it out. The next ps2 i got, which i still currently have, will no longer work at all. It just stays stuck at the main screen and is eternally loading or something. I am not a fanboy of any of the consoles. I am just going by what has happened to me. I will not jump at any of the consoles until they have been out for awhile and everything reaches its plateau so to speak in respect to hype. Until then, i will keep playing the ones i have.
