You guys are all wrong I\'m sorry to say. I actually was in this quandry for quite a while myself, drove me nuts! After reasearching, and finding no real conclusive evidence of navy, or spruce, it changed in different lighting. So I decided I wanted to go to the source and get the right answer. After a painstaking search I got the very man we all envy\'s email address, yep, Mr. Nick Castle himself!! Sent him a couple emails, and we actually got to talking a bit, I posed the question to him, if he could remember what color they were, he said of course he knew, and told me John still had the original coveralls in a box somewhere in his house even! He\'s a cool guy, Nick, made me sweat a little, then finally told me, he said and I quote \"theye were a pair Debra picked up actually, she got em in a hardware store a few days before filming, hot pink in color, I remember thinking how weird that was. John told me he\'d change em in post though, make em a more sutable color. \'Then he laughed and said I\'ll fix them fan boys but good\' and walked away.
So there ya have it guys! hot pink is the color you all want, to be completely accurate! Got mine on order!
