Did you or do you have ANY other codecs installed??
If so, your best bet would be to uninstall ALL codecs, including CCCP (which, really isnt a codec).
Reboot, then reinstall CCCP.

I had a bunch of codecs randomly installed, but I\'m not sure I can pick all of them out and delete them all without fuckin\' up something else. Hehe. I can try.
Thing is, I\'ve been getting that exact error message even BEFORE I ever installed CCCP. So I would say that it\'s not a problem with CCCP cause it was already a problem even before I had downloaded it.

I have G-Spot already. It only works with .AVI files, though...It won\'t recognize Matroska stuff.
