I think it really goes back to expectation. Someone posted a few months back on what fans expect in a mask, prop, etc. A lot of people like resin hockey masks because they\'re thicker and feel more "real", even though the movie masks are thinner ABS, as to be cheaper since they use a few in the flicks.
The same goes for the coveralls. Many people watch the movies and see blue coveralls, therefore believr they\'re blue, and want blue coveralls for a costume. I\'ve seen Halloween about a billion times, and even in the daylight scenes, the coveralls look blue. The forst time i heard someone say they were green, I thought that person was retarded. Any way, the point is, if ya wanna be "accurate" you can use green coveralls and fade \'em like Jason7 did. But for my Myers costume, I still have to use my blue mechanics jumpsuit, because I see blue in the flick, and it just feels right.
