From what I\'ve seen of the replica/mask makers, there\'s tons of them out there, and only a couple are rip-off artists. And they\'re usually drug through the mud fast enough that people find out quickly who to order from and who not to order from.
Plus alot of people think of Makers as doing this as a full time job web business. They forget that alot of these guys also work 40 (or 60 in my case) hours a week at thier \'normal\' job, and do these things as a hobby. You gotta remember, these guys are \'artists\' and not businessmen. Alot of time in the \'real\' world, if you commision an artist, especially a busy one, to make you a painting, you do have to wait months or a year to get it. I\'m not defending the Makers or the Customers, I\'m just saying people do/make this stuff out of love for the hobby. And from what I\'ve seen in the past 3-4 years, if anything kills that artists love for making the stuff, it\'s usually angry whining customers. I know people that have quite doing what they do purely because they couldn\'t take the e.mails anymore. It sucked the joy right out of what they were doing and trying to share.
