I dressed up a plastic one last year looked ok, for blood i used five minute epoxy, dribbled on and then coated it with a load of tamiya clear red paint, really looks like blood.
Don\'t mix the clear red into epoxy, i did this and it went a weird orange colour! just wait for it to set and then paint it
