Right now it is just the brain-child of a few YOUNG exec.s over @ New Line.
Supposedly, Robert Englund said that only Ash could kill Freddy for good, supposedly. I think if it is done right, it could work. Look at how many people said Freddy Vs. Jason would suck? It could be a good way to end all the series\'...with Ash kicking everybody\'s ass, including his own :blink:
