I wanted to post an unmasked pic to just to show off dougie\'s mask he sold me! Basically I painted around the left eye (as you are looking at it) removed their damaged eye socket on the right and latexed some black pantyhose material there to black out my eye. I cut the right corner of the mouth and glued it closed so it wasn\'t gaping open anymore. And after recutting the slit to make it tighter, installed a zipper in the back so it stayed nice and snug. Then I repainted all the gashes and wounds black and brown instead of maroon and accetuated the forehead with a little more texture. I was really happy with the turnout since I was on a bit of a budget for this one.

Incredible costume! How did you go about making the prop axe or where did you get it?

The blade is a block of pine my friend and I cut on a band saw and he sanded it to shape. The axe handle was cut off where the top inserts into the blade and we drilled a hole and glued a dowell rod into the handle and then about 1/2 way up into the axe head. Then I painted black and detailed it with some chrome paint!
