Hahaaaaaaaa............you know it Dan! This is supposed to be an 80's throwback. 80s slashers are mothers milk to me.....I'm having a plaque made up and hope to get Kane Hodder to sign it at Chiller....Hodder played the monster

See my edit about the monster. Cool to hear Kane is playing the monster. What do you think of the actual make up design?

My memory is coming back...I remember someone telling me a few weeks ago at MM that John Carl Beuchler did the FX who also plays a role in the film? He doesn't even know what CGI is lol..which is good

Anything other than "gorno" which is getting really, really old. Movies like Hostel, Saw, etc have run their course. I want some fun, old-fashioned monster slice and dice movies.....................................Larry

The good thing about horror is that it cycles itself out. It starts with a tremendous success that changes everything and then the films get progressively worse and worse until the genre is spent and then reinvented. Halloween, scream, saw, the Ring, etc.

It makes nice landscapes and background but the creatures and monsters still look fake fake fake.

I think it looked great in Lord of the rings. It all depends on who does it. I think WETA did it for LOTR. Gollum was awesome
