Personally, if I see either this or the original mask, I think they're both cool, and neither scare me. However if some seemingly unstoppable dude who is trying to kill me is wearing either mask, they'd BOTH scare me. Everyone here who saw the original when it came out were probably pretty young and still susceptible to being scared. Today, young kids might be just as scared of this new mask as you were of the original. Plus you have to take into account that scares have been shoved down our throats since the original, so society has become desensitized. It's all relative to what scares people today, which isn't much.

zombie is nothing more than a typical horror fan who uses his fame and income to make movies. he cant be original so he steals concepts from previous horror films but adds twists so that his fans dont notice. for some reason he thinks that constant profanity, heavy gore, and raunchy visions of rape are what makes films scary. I find it to be distasteful and pathetic.

I have no comment on the Zombieween film at the moment, but I will say this mask is hardly "revealing Myers in the new film" considering all this is based on is Wayne Toth's preview of the sculpt and the paint and hair work from the remake. It's just an H9 mask with holes in it. Who knows? Maybe he doesn't even bleed all over the front of the mask? Could it possibly just be rips in the mask?...All I'm saying, it's far too early to call this revealing the mask, though I did see you said "Well sort of" so I see you yourself aren't considering this the official look.

At the end of the first film it "appeared" that Laurie Strode popped a cap in his skull, but just how is her aim? Beyond the break you can check out a replica mask, which is said to be based on the actual sculpt used in the film hitting theaters August 28th. What do you guys think of it?<i>The Prop Shop is selling their replica mask from Rob Zombie's H2 for $249.99 on their website. Here's what they write: "<u>Our Psychopath H2 mask is based on Toth's sculpt for the new Halloween due out in Aug.</u> Our H2 mask is the most detailed mask we've ever offered! <u>Screen accurate sculpt</u>, paint and hair. Each mask is signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Very limited, 100% hand made, not mass produced. </i><img src=\"http://www.thepropshopsite.com/Images/Images/ebay/h2psycho1.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://www.thepropshopsite.com/Images/Images/ebay/h2psycho9.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />Visit <a href=\"http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/news/15546\" target=\"_blank\">Bloody-Disgusting</a> for the full article and <a href=\"http://www.thepropshopsite.com/PsychopathH2.html\" target=\"_blank\">The Prop Shop</a> for more pictures.<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndIf you got shot in the head with a latex mask on, there would probably only be a hole the size of the bullet (as long as it wasn't a large caliber weapon). The holes represented on this mask, make me think the mask was made of plastic or glass and shattered big jagged holes when Michael was shot! Kinda silly if you ask me <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" />

At close range like that with a 357 Magnum the whole front of Myers face would be gone.
