Finished pics below...I ran out of resin about 1 centimeter from the top of the mold, so this casting looks a lot smaller than it should. There are only two VERY small air bubbles in the silicone mold. One is near the droopy eye and the other is right in front of the droopy ear. (See pictures below.) The neck underneath the jaw on the same droopy side also has a couple small indentions that could have been caused by airbubbles in the mold....I sure as hell know they weren't present in my sculpture. Maybe they won't be there when I cast the next one(?) That said, the mold itself came out REALLY nice, especially for my first attempt ever. It's certainly worthy for production castings, which is good news for anyone who wants to buy one!Furthermore, please forgive me for being a complete newb at casting resin...I poured it too fast on this test, so I got a lot of air bubbles in the lower lobes of the ears and underneath the chin. I promise I'll get better at this, though! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"tongue.gif\" /> I also didn't close up the back of the silicone mold correctly for this test, so this particular head has a slight split in the back...I'll try really hard to be more cautious when lining up this mold key on my future castings.NOTE: The sculpture itself.....*sigh*....There aren't words for what this process has done to the poor thing. I can't even describe it, because if I do, it might make me cry. I've added pics of that below, as well, in case anyone is interested in the "aftermath of a silicone mold." Warning, it's graphic. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"confused.gif\" /> Thanks for looking and cheers,Ryan
