Deer Chili

Deer is great.I believe the best chili I've ever had was made with beef and caribou.

in my opinion, if the deer is gamey in chili or stew or spagetti it is better because it has that deer taste, otherwise it is just a waste of venison. i love it and it is lean and good for you. i say two thumbs up and keep an open mind.mike

I've made it several times before, and like some have said, you probably won't taste much difference due to all of the chili seasoning and spices. Now plain deer in steak or burger form has a noticeable difference which is really, really tasty. Just thinking of the flavor makes me want to take up hunting again.
