well i\'m 22 years old right now. I used to walk to the video thunder and rent ALL of them when I was 7 or 8 years old (1989 or 1990)..Not sure why they let me rent them but they did lol. I remember that eventually my parents caught on and my dad started to pre-watch them to make sure there wasn\'t too much nudity in them. I also remember that I watched Friday the 13th part 6 on WLVI56(I even remember the channel) in my kitchen. That was the first one I saw and I was scared to death!

I found nightmare on elm street and Halloween shortly after.

Exactly the same with me, except with Halloween. We had the edited "Media" version of the movie when I was 3. I would sneak out of my room at night to watch it. Id watch it 2 or 3 times a night, and then have to sleep in my mom and dads bed. Then the next night came, and the process would start over again. So I guess you cna say it all started when I was 3.

30 years old in November...i cannot wait...but back on topic somewhat...
my very first horror movie ever was the Universal Classic Wolfman, starring Lon Chaney Jr and Bela Lugosi. My parents refused to let me watch the splatter stuff growing up, but they would let me watch the universal classics, the abbott and costello films, and of course the cold war era sci fi films such as Them!, Invasion of the Saucer Men, and the Original Blob...gotta love the classics

ahhh lets see ok i was 4 yrs old and..it was part 7. the one thing that really sticks in my mind is the scene where hodder smacks the girl in the head with the axe and then throws her over the tv. thought that was so damn cool.
