As far as the Friday the 13th films are concerned, I love them all, but I would have to say VIII was the worst... With the unreasonable plot and lack of \'Friday\' feel, not to mention too much Kane put into the role of Jason.
As far as best, I find them all entertaining, however I like 1-4 the most, as they seem to have the most significance to each other. They all just have that classic Friday feel. You could cut it off at 4 and still have a terrific series (maybe even better than where it went
). Friday 1 is great and I think its a little unappreciated compared to the later installments, but Part 4 is my overall favorite.
As for the ones New Line have shoveled out, they are just terrible, in my opinion, complete lack of continuity and obvious \'cash-cow\' intent. FvJ was only redeeming for its rediculous plot which seemed more of a horror-comedy than anything else. But, to each his own. B)
