Let me put it like this...even if it's a side hobby...he's making money just like any of us that make props...therefore it's a job none the less...accepting cash for a service is a job...no different than what we all do for a living...it just may be done on the side.I work on Cicso equipment for a living and I do computer work on the side. How long do you think I'd be in business if I promised my customers that I could have work done by a certain point...then didn't contact them for almost a month *while I've got there money no less* and had other people defending me saying why it's okay and how they should wait a little longer because I'm a good guy. Good guy I may be but the fact of the matter is I wouldn't have a business if I worked like that.I ordered this mask when I did for one reason and one reason only...Flashback Weekend is on the 20th of this month and I didn't want to take my Ol' Pizzaface up to get signed because I had my heart set on a Butterfingers...now that I think about it I would have been better off buying it on ebay, but be that as it may....he swore to me I'd have this mask in time for that convention. Now Elizabeth and I are going up on Wed. the 18th to sight see and such which now gives him exactly 4 days from today *since mail doesn't run on Sundays* to get that mask here which means it would have to be on it's way right now...which it's not.The only thing that I can say is this...I understand everyone saying that he is a great guy but this is turning really sour for me really quick. His feedback on ebay isn't that great right now and I'm starting to hear from people on these forums saying that they are in the same boat...not hearing from him and wondering where their stuff is. I don't care how busy you are...there is NO excuse for not getting back to your customers and at least explaining to them why you're not out. It shouldn't be up to people like Slasherhouse to call him on our behalf and act as a middle man. I understand that stuff comes up...but not 10 weeks worth of stuff. For god sake Justin had a death in the family and got married all within a week and a half of each other and he was almost immediately back to making masks and getting them out again. Bear is building a house...which by the way I'd like to add that in Bear's own words...he said that he was doing these BEFORE he got in deep on the house because he needed the money and knew that he wouldn't have time. I appreciate all the kind words of support on here but the fact of the matter is...this was a business transaction and if that mask does not show up here by Wed. the 18th or I've not heard from him by then...I WILL file a dispute with Paypal and I will push it as far as I possibly can. I hate to do that, but it's too easy to get screwed over on the net and I'm not watching almost 200 bucks of my money go down the tubes for no reason. Recently I've been getting people screwing me over quite a bit on the boards when it comes to my money and I'm sick of being nice about it. Anders took 8 bloody months to get the correct glove out to me always saying....you should have it next week...it will ship in a week...just give it time, then this Jasonpt3 guy that posts on here tells me he's got a FvJ glove that he has to sell cheap to pay some speeding tickets...takes glove forever to get here and then when it does...it not only shows up broken, but it's also a cheap Neopal toys Nightmare 1 knock off. Almost 100 bucks down the drain for absolutely nothing. Now Bear is pulling this crap and not even taking the time to tell me or anyone else waiting on a mask himself that he's held up...he's got other people tracking him down and telling them for us.That's unprofessional and unacceptable in my opinion. What's worse (and this is my own fault) I didn't even have the money to buy it when I did...originally I asked him if he could just hold a spot for me until payday...but after thinking about it, I didn't want to leave him hanging on wondering if I would really pay for it, so I dipped into our flashback fund and sent him the cash same day to make it easier on him and this is the thanks I get for it. Thank you to everyone who had something to say...however if you do talk to Bear I'd suggest telling him that he's got some customers (not just me) who are really getting pissed about this and he needs to step up to the plate and fulfill his end of the bargain before people start taking drastic measures to get it cleared up...because at this point I'm sick of being nice about it.Thanks once again to all and I hope this doesn't come off as rude....just put yourself in my shoes for a second...I know he's got a great rep...but that doesn't mean just because he was good to some, he's like that with all of us....I wouldn't be half as pissed right now if he would be a professional and talk to us personally instead of just stringing us along. He needs to get his ass (sorry for my language I don't normally curse) in gear and get our masks out to us.-JosephOh...Daz...that Revenge sculpture is looking killer. I might need to have you bag one up for me when they are ready to sell. Do you have any idea what kind of price tag you're going to put on them because that's a must have in my house?

Hey guys, I talked with Bear and his reason is legit as to why he hasn't been in contact with anyone. His baby boy has been in the hospital for the past week. I won't go into his personal business and for that reason I won't give out his number. This is definitely not something he needs to be bothered with at the hospital. Right now his main concern is the health of Gunnar. So please keep him and his family in mind during this rough time and be certain that you will get your items. I wish there was something more I could do but right now my thoughts are with my friend and his son.

Yea it is absolute BS when people cant get back to you with info or in some case's can be down right asshole's about the whole thing.This hobby is basicly making me weary about buying anything without doing some serious research first.In your case however it was the opposite.Bear was recommended to you and it just so happen's that you got in at a bad time.

Right now he's got a lot of people's money and none of us are hearing from him. I can totally understand that he's not able to get in touch with anyone because of his son and for that I completely forgive, however that doesn't change the fact we've not heard from him in WEEKS now.Let him be with his family and I really will pray that he and his stay safe and make it through this tough time...but you need to let him know that he's going to have to get people dealt with, because nothing for nothing...that still doesn't explain the other 2 months that we've been waiting on our stuff.
