The cause of death is probably over the counter sleeping pills. No heroin, that's just a rumor. They can't find traces of heroin when they haven't even moved the body yet. It's such a shame for such a talented actor to pass on so early.

Very Sad! he was a great young actor! one of those up and comers we could expect to do great things in the future..A real shame. Drugs take down so many young people
I'm not European, I don't plan on being European. So who gives a crap if they're socialists? They could be facist anarchists, it still wouldn't change the fact that I don't own a car.

    DON'T EVER CHANGE!

This is horrible. Maybe now people will stop making those ridiculously overdone Brokeback jokes.

Im watching the news right now and they are trying to put some of the blame on the Batman movies. A reporter did an interview with Heath, and Ledger remarked that he was so troubled by playing the character of the Joker, that he had a hard time sleeping at night with only 2-3 hours at time. He said that the character was just so demonic and evil that it scared him to play such a role at times. They question now if the new Batman movies are too dark, and should not be concidered a "superhero" movie.

I haven't been this shocked over a celebrities death since John Ritter's. How terrible. RIP Heath
    Lizzie Borden took an axe

And gave her mother forty whacks.

When she saw what she had done

    She gave her father forty-one.

So sad, it's such a shame. 28 years old too. I first remember seeing him in '10 Things I Hate About You' and then The Patroit.... RIP Heath,<img src=\"http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f351/lil_miss_shortie23/heath.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />
