WOW....Thanks for the great response, guys!! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" /> I just got in from work to read all these replies, and I'm glad everyone seems to like how it's going so far. (Especially you, Justin! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" /> Hearing that statement from you really made my day.)I'll post more updates as it gets further along. There are a few basic design flaws I need to correct, first...For example, the back of the head and upper neck on his left side seem to be a bit too thick in comparison to the b&w sculpture pics. I'll have to shave it down a tad. I also need to finish the forehead and add his other ear, as those places are getting on my nerves. Not to mention lip detailing, neck creases, and extremely fine wrinkles that are yet to be added all over the head. Thanks so much for the compliments and encouragement, and again, any other feedback is welcome! If you see something that I don't, let me know about it. If I agree with you, I'll fix the hell out of it. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"tongue.gif\" /> Cheers,Ryan

You shouldn't doubt your skills!! If this was 1:1 you would have the most accurate part 4 display ever produced in the hobby. Thats saying something!! Congrats on some great work and an eye for detail

Nice work Ryan. Sounds weird, but by the looks of the photos, it makes me want to eat it. It looks like candy of some kind. LOLSeriously though, great job.

I really don't know what to say. I'll be sure to update all of you with sculpture pictures when I take 'em. Until then, I've been trying to find the best way to mold this sucker when or if the time comes...I can't seem to find the info I need in regards to the Super Sculpey I'm using. Thanks again for all the encouragement,Ryan

Slight update....Thanks to "Emazers" and "SPAZ" for new reference photos, I've been able to piece together the details on the sculpture's forehead, including the ax cut and all the "wrinkles" on its left side. It's not completely refined, but it's definitely close now. Let me know if any of you find something wrong or know anything I've missed, and I'll check it out/fix it. (Justin, this includes you. I'd certainly love your input on my project!)Thanks in advance for any pointers. I plan to mold this sculpture in silicone by the end of the year, if I can get it done by then. Here are the newest pics:<img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1150871.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1150878.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1150885.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h98/MoonlitDevil/P1150887.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />Thanks and Cheers,Ryan
Really one of the best i've seen done, very impressive stuff, i had real trouble with decent pics of the same areas when i did mine, not much out there closeup referance wise, but you should have a go at a lifesize version, i think you'd do a great job of it.

Thanks, Frosty. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"biggrin.gif\" />Yeah, I've noticed most replicas have lacked accuracy in that area. It's really hard to see those details in pictures of the real deal, too...That area of the forehead is always covered in blood, making everything too dark to decipher. I feel pretty happy with it currently, but I'm sure it could look way better once I have more photo reference to work from.As for doing a life-sized version, I am already throwing around the idea of using a type of Hydrospan that enlarges up to 160% to turn this thing into a bust over 15" tall. That said, it's way too soon to talk about that. hehe. I'd definitely like to make a larger version, though.Cheers,Ryan

Eh forget the 15" version . . . I still want a CHOCOLATE version of the small one! LOLOh wait . . . a 15" chocolate version may be even better. Get crackin' Bean!
