I think there is just something about a normal looking crazed killer that is frightening. It's like that with Jason and it's the same w/ Michael. H1 and H2 were awesome, the character was scary as hell because in your mind you could place him in real-life situations. The same principle applies to the F13 movies in my opinion. Kane was a bit too big and over the top. And zombies are fictional so a lot of people are not afraid of them... but watching an average sized human with deformities wielding a machete at anything in his way can really get to your nerves. I do not like the direction they've gone in horror w/ these slashers getting bigger, faster, stronger, meaner. I don't genuinely feel scared like I used to.

His whole uppper body heaves up and down with each breath, but Kane's Jason is a zombie so why the deep breaths? Do you still have to catch your breath after the second time you come back from the dead. I think White was a much scarier and realistic Jason. And as far as wrestlers being in film a bad thing I don't have a comment on that one <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Rolleyes\" border=\"0\" alt=\"rolleyes.gif\" />

I don't like Kane's Jason at all. Kane's Jason is not Jason, he's a Myers ripoff.

Kane was my favorite Jason for the longest time (probably cause part 8 was the first F13 movie I saw so I was being partial) but now I think Ted White is my favorite with Richard Brooker in at a very close second.

I think CJ Graham played Jason better than Kane. My faves are White, Dash, Brooker, CJ, Mears, Morga, Kane. I didn't like Ken's at all. I agree with some of the others, I think Jason was scarier in the earlier films because it made it more realistic in a sense that a deformed killer could be killing people with a machete. I also liked it when he wasn't so bulky too, just like Michael Myers. Michael was way more scary in one and two because he looked like a normal adult. When they make characters like this huge just for the sake of it, it takes away from it being believable in my opinion. When I was a kid Part 2, 3, and 4 would always give me nightmares, but as I got a little older and watched the newer ones I really never got scared by them. It could be because I got a little older though?
