Sorry I haven\'t gotten back to anyone. I\'ve been out of town.
I\'ve gotten a bevy of offers ranging from prices well over $40, however I really wasn\'t trying to sell the mask on this board. (I\'m not sure how safe it is?)

I assumed I would sell it on Ebay. I really just wanted to know what the going price would be.

I guess I don\'t know much about the mask, because I thought it was rare. I have collected Freddy masks for years, and have only seen it once.

I\'m sorry. I didn\'t mean to throw anyone off in my initial post. I never offered it for sale on this board. My question on the title was "Can I sell this?"

I wasn\'t sure if I would be wasting my time on Ebay or not. But thanks for the suggestions....

    Sorry again...

Good point gmyers. I do agree that I would prefer that the mask go to someone who loves horror and could truly appreciate it. I would hate for it to go to some little kid who wears it once and throws it away.

But, call me a wimp, I\'m always afraid of non-Ebay sanctioned transactions. I\'ve been stiffed and ripped off more than once. Not to mention, no matter how much I think I should sell a mask for, it always sells for higher to some guy on Ebay with too much money in his pocket. I sold a Jim Carrey "The Mask" mask (from 1994) on Ebay before Halloween. I was told on HMA.net\'s webboard to that it would sell for around $30. So I listed it at $9.99. I figured that if I could get $30 I would be extremely happy.

Seven days the auction ended at $175.00. There\'s too many people out there with a lot more spending cash than I.

I, in turn, end up spending the money earned, on one of NIGHTOWL\'s members, jwolf\'s masks - the Texas Quilt. So, in the end, the money always gets back to and recycled amongst us true horror fans. I guess I just went the long way around it.
