I'm sorry to hear about you dog... I know from experience that dogs are much more than just pets they are members of the family. My little buddy had to be put down last year and I was gone for an internship for 4 months and he had to be put down 11 days after I got back. Its the hardest thing I have had to do and felt a lot of guilt not being able to be there for him the last few months.

I agree with you appreciate them and love them every day, take care and always remember the good times you had with him.

Loosing your dog hurts no less than loosing a family member or close friend...
I am so sorry you had to go through that my friend, it's so tuff to deal with this type of stuff.
Life is very strange...as hard as it is, try to think of the good times you had with your dog.

I am very sorry brudda, one day at a time...the pain will heal and may you treasure all your memories of your lovely dog.

    take care
    Jon

Sorry to hear about Bandit.. my condolences. He looked like a cool dog too! I have two Pugs that are the world to me and it's going to be tough letting go when that
time comes. DOGS RULE!!! Dog people get it and those that are not "dog people" have no idea. I've had dogs my whole life.. but they were pretty much "family" dogs.
Now that I have my own.. it's totally different! Maggie and Mugsy send their sympathies too.. Wink

Hang in there man.. and when the time comes, open up your heart for another pup!

You are all the best! Many thanks. And to Dave tell Maggie and Mugsy thanks as well Smile.
I have another dog Smokey, he seems sad. I hope he will get better. Here is a picture of him with Bandit(the slightly darker one on the left). They were very close, he is 7, two years younger then Bandit.

This is sad cause dogs can be better then people. Just know you did the best you could for your dog and gave him the best life you could and you might find some comfort.Amy

I am SO sorry to hear this... my sincerest condolences, man. I've lost countless pets over the years. I tragically lost a cat that was so dearly loved by everyone on the family.

I made this tribute for him to remember the good times but also to grieve:

May you find comfort in the memories.
