Joker has probably been his best role yet,and he doesn't even get to go to the premier..that's really depressing, the guy still had such a long road of great experiences ahead of him, great actor..Dark Knight's gonna choke me up when I watch it <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Sad\" border=\"0\" alt=\"sad.gif\" />

Damn, I guess he is in the company of some greats now though. I was thinking the same thing that he his role reminded me of Brandon Lee in the Crow. I can't honestly say I was a fan of all his work but he made some great ones. Knight's Tale is one of our fav's in this house.

A reporter did an interview with Heath, and Ledger remarked that he was so troubled by playing the character of the Joker, that he had a hard time sleeping at night with only 2-3 hours at time. He said that the character was just so demonic and evil that it scared him to play such a role at times. They question now if the new Batman movies are too dark, and should not be concidered a "superhero" movie.<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndHonestly thats how i wanted the Joker to be. Sick, demonic, trash of a human being with an even sicker sense of humor. I really hope it didn't drive him to do this. If it did I think there were probably some troubles going on in his private life. I mean he just separated from his daughters mother and stuff too...

yeah he has a 2 year old daughter with Michelle Williams . it has been noted that in order to prepear for the role , Ledger stayed in a hotel room for a month just researching all types of Joker stuff to get an idea of his character . also with very little sleep , he suffered from insomnia while doing it . I just bought myself an autofraph of him off ebay but unfortunally couldn't afford a Joker pic of him as they are between $400-$2,000 . i can tell you for sure that i will be standing and applauding when they show his "in memory " at the end of the movie and will stay for the rest of the credits as he and this movie deserve . Ledger was a great actor. If you want to see his work at its finest, watch the last 5 minutes of Candy. He'll be missed.

Horrible news for sure. It's a shame to see talent like that fall to drugs. The Dark Knight would have catapulted his career into super stardom. RIP

I have a ritual called \\\"terminator\\\". I crouch in the shower in the \\\"naked terminator\\\" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
