While I do agree that he can improve the more he fights, I believe he has a heavy head because hes taken down some un-skilled fighters in his own neighborhood. This is simply my opinion btw, so anyone who wants to bash my thoughts feel free, it wont change how I feel.

Poor Kimbo. He has a huge hate train against him.... and for all the wrong reasons.Give the dude credit... he made it off the streets and is fighting in an upcoming organization against mid-level competition. Cans up until Petruzelli, who is not an unknown. If you ever watched the Ultimate Fighter then you should know who he is. Most MMA fans that are hardcore knew that Seth would win this fight. It's the uneducated and casual fans that were taken by surprise. Anyone who put $ on Kimbo in this one is nuts.The guys who should get the hate are Jared and Gary here. They blew Kimbo up to be a superhero, when he was nothing more than an overgrown street fighter just learning real MMA techniques. On his back, he's a turtle on the highway with nowhere to go. In time, he will get better but I don't think he'll ever be anything that lives up to the hype. Kimbo is a classy guy for a street thug. He took the loss well and I hope it humbled him. I've been waiting for the day he became exposed... and now that it's happened I hope he can really improve upon himself. Listen, Slice never said he was the greatest of all time. He never called out big Nog, Fedor, or Randy... If he had talked a bunch of trash from his own mouth, then I'd be glad he lost. Unfortunatley for Kimbo, the Shaws fed him things to say and made him look like more of a fool than he actually is. Kimbo will never fight in the UFC and I honestly believe his popularity will be short-lived. Same w/ EliteXC...

I don't see where people are getting off saying it was a fluke thing that he slipped, as if to say that's the root cause of his loss. When GSP lost to Matt Serra, EVERYONE was shocked because it's clear who the better fighter was and is. BUT, that's how the fight went and he could have lost at any other second. That's the beauty of MMA. Unpredictability. Saying it was Kimbo's slip is why he lost is almost like being in defense for him. He'll have another chance to fight. Personally, I think he's an over-hyped internet sensation without substance at best.

Sorry.. but Kimbo took a stiff jab that put him to the ground. Otherwise he wouldn't have just rolled over and took punch after punch without defending himself. It stunned him.

It was definitely no fluke at all. Seth won the fight w/ that jab and caught Kimbo walking into it.

A slip was the initial reaction by many after seeing the fight full speed, and his foot did slip back from the contact. However I already clarified about the "stiff jab" after getting the chance to see it in slow motion.
