face it,it\'s dead. the true friday the 13th will be no more. sure theres gonna be jason slashing up some teens, the but same feeling that i had in 2 throguh 4 is gone. don\'t know what the feeling is it\'s just not there anymore. sure 6 and 7 were good. mostly for thr fact that kane actually put his heart and dedication into the character and was more violent and demonic. thats always cool. then they brought ken in and it all went to shit. im sure ill go and see this movie just to see it but if they use ken again im gonna go crazy. i want the mean crazy ass mofo killer back. mr hodder is the best. as for the bruce thing...well. im not sure. just sounds kinda messed up. it won\'t be a jason movie or a friday the 13th movie. it won\'t even be horror. mehh, i give up

I love QT, but I really wasn\'t excited about the idea of him doing an F13 movie. But a friend of mine made an interesting point that kinda has me excited now. QT writes great dialoge and creates really likable memorable characters. Now imagine a Jason movie where the characters are actually cool people you like and don\'t actually want to see get killed? Wouldn\'t that be a nutty concept for a Jason movie.

And QT probably could make Jason ultra-violent and scary again.

I\'ll just keep my fingers crossed. Even if it\'s a stinker, I\'ll still see it in the theatre and buy the dvd.

Hmmm...I don\'t see it happening. I could be wrong, but this all sounds like gossip to me. I mean, Bruce Willis\' salary is more than any Friday the 13th budget...combined. Why would they pour that kind of cash into the franchise when they know they can make more money off killing stars from the WB?

As far as getting the old Jason\'s back...well...they haven\'t been Jason for over 20 years...that means they are just a little over the hill to be playing big J. Kane could do it still...and I guess we have Ken (though I\'m still not sure I really liked him as Jason).

It\'s all rumors until confirmed by some behind the scenes footage, or some report from the set of the movie actually being filmed. Until then, it\'s ALL speculation...period.

I know I\'m probably going to get crucified for this, but I don\'t want Kane to play Jason ever again...pt 7 is great, but after that he started WAY OVER-ACTING...why does jason have to pant and move his shoulders up and down all the time like is all "upset" or as if someone scuffed his brand new Pumas...I just think Kane is highly overrated and I really don\'t think very much of the movies that he has been in as Jason...as for Ken...I thought he was pretty good for the story considering the story was supposed to make Jason a "good guy" kinda and an innocent...but NEVER KANE AGAIN PLEASE!
