Ya know, there\'s a few things people don\'t think about...for example...we run 18 police cars 24 hrs a day...when the gas starts "selling out", like it already has in a few cities, what will become of all emergency vehilces?
Just something to think about....

Sheesh sounds like a soap opera around here again lol. thats a really dicky thing to say, not everyone has high paying jobs like some people <_< , and some of those people are actually really down in cash right now becuase half their houses have been destroyed, if not the whole house all together. So those people are having to work twice as hard to get money to repair these damages, and then they have to remember that they now have to spend 3 or 4 dollars a gallon just to get to their work.... But yea, Marks right, you wont feel the same way when the prices hit your area.... (also, if that were a joke, please forgive me, but next time if be a bit more clear)

Quote:Right screw the enviroment I want to able to drive around in my gas burning SUV with the air conditioning on at full blast polluting the world and I want to pay $0.89 a gallon. Damn you Clinton and your thoughts about the future and quality of life for the next generations. I do care about the enviroment and would want a better future for all. But as a college student who is trying to live on my own because I have to, has to drive 50 miles just to school and 50 miles back 3 times a week, and 15 miles to work and 15 miles back 5 times a week it kind of adds up. I mean hey I have an SUV ,a P.O.S. Jeep Cherokee that was given to me. It wasn\'t by choice and I can\'t afford a new car until I get done with college, so I have to deal with it. I really don\'t think I\'m be irrational about thinking about my money situation that is happening right now. Please no B.S. about going to a different college or a different job. I\'m not lucky to have my major being taught at all but 2 colleges in my state, and I have a decent paying job for being a college student with no degree. So thats why I have to drive.

Why bitch now? You think prices are going to be low in 15 years? How much were they 15 years ago? Gas prices increases are inevitable so just live with it. The cost if living will always go up. I remember getting gas for .90 cents a gallon and sometimes less lol.
