I\'m kind of curious as to what everyone\'s idea of what a redneck is... everyone may have a different interpretation of the word. I\'m in TX and I can tell you that there are definite differences in people that consider themselves rednecks and what I consider to be rednecks...

Dictionary definitions:
1. Used as a disparaging term for a member of the white rural laboring class, especially in the southern United States.
2. A white person regarded as having a provincial, conservative, often bigoted attitude.

My interpretation of a redneck is the uneducated, cowboy-types that run around here getting drunk and spitting tabacco everywhere, then again I know that with comedians like Larry the Cable Guy, etc, it has been a little more glamorized (if that\'s what you can call it)

ok, i live in NC, the klan meeting hall is 10 minutes away from my house, they are in the phone book here....i was just making a joke...i have nothing against rednecks damn....my dad is a redneck, and scott you know you\'re the shit dude haha...i know honestly most of the klan here because well its a small community and yes they are all rednecks...however not all rednecks are members of the klan, it was just a joke....

alrighty then....obviously people do not know me as well as i thought they did. I am being told by my friends that people are out there right now saying i am in the Klan. So I guess i am gonna put it all out there then. By my lifestyle, I meant....i was raised in a predominantly black neighborhood, i grew up with predominantly black friends....all in Alabama. I am the farthest thing you will find from a Klansman as you can get. I have had very bad personal experiences with the Klan as well....i do not want ANYONE, and i mean ANYONE...thinking something like that about me
