So I Got Ripped Off On Ebay

First time for everything I guess... Ive been lucky till today.

Anyway I bought a DVD off eBay and it arrived today. I got a bootleg copy of the original DVD, and very poor at that. Very pixelated... I sent them an email telling them that if they refund me immediatley and stop selling these on eBay I will not take any further action..

They even included a stupid letter with the DVD that said "you did not pay for a DVD in my auction you paid me for the service of backing up a copy of the original for you..."
Like that makes it better...

What would you guys reccomend? Luckily I paid through paypal and know how to get in contact with the maker of the DVD I was trying to buy...

That\'s his auction listing. If he didn\'t send you a brand new dvd then he\'s wrong. Item sold was not what was listed.

Get your money back and report him if you ask me.

It actually costs $100 on his site, and the prices have been dropping lately.. I made the stupid mistake of assuming this guy just bought in bulk and was passing on a deal...

I know how to get in contact with Criss so I\'m really torn.... I\'d like to let him know what\'s going on but If I go that route right away \'ll never see a refund...

Start the refund process through paypal and contact Criss anyway.

Nowhere in his auction does it indicate that you might be getting a copy of the DVD...total crock of shit and you should 1) definitely report him to ebay to get your money back and 2) contact Criss as soon as you can.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune, but I do believe your money will be returned.

This is funny, because I said yesterday to someone that I NEVER buy from private feedback sellers... But his feedback wasn\'t private when I bought it.. He had 39 feedbacks when I bought it..

This sucks because ebay and paypal both don\'t have good records when refunds are involved..

I\'m gonna start the process though..
