Batman 4 life! And Batman Begins was the best to me since 89. I loved the action and Bale was actually good in it... finally justice done to the Dark Knight.

I was going to see X3, but after the reviews I think I\'ll rent it. I\'m too into the comics to pay $10 for the movie and criticize it to all hell.

Quote:I hated the Batmobile when I first saw it in pics. But after seeing it in action int he movie, what is there not to like about it? Would you rather have a mustang with goofy wings on it? That tank is what Batman would use if he were real, and I thikn they did a great job with that for the film.

I\'ve heard a lot of similar angst about the Nolan Batmobile.
I\'m assuming the many Batman fans who have read the DKR knows that Miller\'s DKR\'s version of the batmobile looks pretty spot on to Nolan\'s screen version......which thus predates this version well before Tim Burton\'s version, or Schumacher\'s. Many people dis the new version, I feel, simply because it\'s not the version they grew up with, when in fact, the Nolan/Miller version is, in fact, already 20 years old.....(oddly enough, older than all of the 1989, 1992, 1995, & 1997 films).....

I think the Batmobile was friggin\' awesome in Begins. For that matter, I think Begins was one of the best comic book films ever made. Just my opinion.....

Many of you know I am a HUGE Batman fan. (Christ, I have the the shadow of the bat tattooed on my chest.) And I\'ll tell anyone that BB sucked hiney. They completely watered down Batman\'s training, totally screwed with Scarecrow\'s origins, (I know they did this with most of the Batman villains, but they really did Scarecrow badly.) And what the hell was with Lucius Fox?

    Batman begins = Terrible movie.

    X-Men 3 = Bad as hell.

I thought that each X-men movie got better and better. I absolutely loved X-men 3.
Jean Grey as the Phoenix was cool. Loved how her eyes got dark and the viens in her face were showing. She looked scary.

    Loved it!

As for the whole Batman Begins talk.... I thought it was definately better than the last two, but found it sort of boring for some reason too. But, I know alot of people loved it. So that\'s all good I guess.
People that I have had GOOD/problem-free dealings with and recommend:

I\'ve already stated that I loved X3. As far as Batman Begins, I enjoyed it although I found it a little boring. Sad The batmobile was far more realistic, but I have a soft spot in my heart for the 1989 batmobile, ans dare I say even the 60\'s Batmobile... Blush The movie that I am dreading the most is Superman Returns. You can not top the fact that Christopher Reeves looked as if he walked right out of the comic books!! :woot: And personally, the worst disguise in comic book history was made believable with Reeves superb acting....

I just think it\'s funny that they have a dude that looks like he just walked off a WB set playing Superman. You know, since this is supposed to be a sequel to the Reeve films. And Reeve looked old enough to be this new dood\'s dad in the old films. The trailer does look kinda good, though. Here\'s hoping the film actually is.

Ironically enough, the new guy playing Superman is the same age Reeve was in the first Superman movie. But I do agree, this new guy looks like he should be playing him on the small screen...not only that, but alot of the regular scenes (i.e. not action sequences) I\'ve seen so far look like they might as well be Lois and Clark reruns... I\'m keeping my hopes up for it though...Bryan Singer is a great director and I trust his judgement.

I personally loved X-Men 3...lots of great action and overall X-Men coolness. Though they took some liberty with the plot (as with the other two) I like the way it was translated on screen. If they can keep writing this good, I\'d love to see more.
