My Humble Attempt At A Sculpt

I jumped into this not knowing what the hell I was doing... This is an old pic mind you. The recent finished pics are on a disk somewhere... and I\'m too lazy at the moment to take new photos.



yes yes, laugh if you like. But I hadn\'t sculpted or played with clay since my freshman year in highschool.. which was.. erm 4 years prior to doing this.

thanks. In the finished version his nose is reduced and those studpid lumps I put on his scowl are gone. They just looked REALLY weird. (btw.. I like your avatar Puck)

lol yeah.. I kinda can\'t afford a real armature, and its so much cheaper for a $3 foam head.. LOL

That\'s not bad at all, shows a lot of promise! Good structure and form, I can picture those modifications you said you made and I think you\'re well on your way to a great piece! If you planned on making this a mask, you might run into a bit of a size issue if you didn\'t really build up that foam head. They will work just fine to practice on, but if you want to start making your own masks I would highly suggest either making or buying a full armature.

I second what froggy said, I have the sculpting ability of a rock LOL! So always nice to see other\'s work!
