Some of you might have seen this on another forum, but I couln\'t resist posting it here as well for the rest to see...
I know some of you are already inked, but for those who are not...here ya go!
First we start out with the first, of two, tattoos I have. I got this one when I turned 18, pretty cool back in 1988 but not so cool today.
So I was thinking one day while at the haunt that I\'d like to do a cover-up and the wheels started spinning.
I came up with an idea in my mind and just kind of stuck it back in my head until a couple of weeks ago when I realized my B-Day was coming up. So, I decided to follow through with the idea and this is what I came up with.
Then I sent the idea to Crash, who is just so awesome to work with...kudos Crash!! A bit later he sent me a preliminary cover-up drawing and we went from there.
A few days later he blew me away with the finished drawing, much better than I had hoped for.
After hours of studying and looking over the drawing, there were a few changes that I wanted done. Rather than take up any additional time of Crash\'s I decided to go with the old standby, Photoshop.
I did some head tilts on LF, Myers, and Jman. I also lowered Jman\'s head and brought that burned guy a bit closer to myers.
When I was happy with the artwork I printed it out full size and said, "D%#$, this is gonna be HUGE!!"
So I took the prints down to the shop and handed it to the artist and he said, "D%#$, that f*&^@$r is HUGE!" Well, I pressed on and sat through 3 wonderful hours of pleasure and pain. Then I remembered this was only the line drawing...shading would still come later.
Here is the finished line work, in 2 weeks I\'ll return to give Jman the glory he deserves and well go on from there.
