nah, there's more then enough guys around to pick up the slack. Thanks for the compliment though. Besides you can always get my templates made into a glove by Chris, and he does mirror finish blades which is something I never offered. So it's definitely a step up.I prefer masks these days anyway, I got kinda burned out making gloves. I didn't have a plasma cutter or anything, so they were all made completely from scratch by hand. Cutting the blades out of sheet steel with a dremel, grinding them into shape, cutting all the armature pieces out of thick sheet copper and brass. It's alot of work. It easily took me 45 hours to make a single glove start to finish, then most of the time I'd turn around and sell them for $125. $115 after shipping, maybe $75. after materials,.....$75. isn't alot for 45 hours worth of work lol. what's that like $1.50 an hour or something? Lol. But I always said I made them for fans, not for any real profit. Kinda like what I'm trying to do now with the Myers masks. I know there's fans like me who don't have alot of extra cash and can't spend $300. on a glove or mask. We shouldn't have to settle for crap just because we don't have alot of money. .Good times though, I miss the gloves, wish I'd made some for myself.
