World War 2 Shin Gunto Sword

World War 2 Shin Gunto sword. I bought this sword at a gun shop about ten years ago, I don't think it's authentic, but it's a perfect copy in every detail,it even looks like an antique. Every aspect of the sword is accurate and the blade is carbon steel. The tsuka(handle) is made of wood and the blade is a full tang. The sword is in mint condition. I'm asking $185.00 shipped payment through paypal. I hate to part with with, but I really need the money. Pm me if you're interested.

Holy crap I wish I had some extra cash. That sword is beautiful! If that is a copy, it\'s an amazing one, it might be an un-issued sword captured when the Eastern front fell, those details are pretty exacting. It looks like the blade has a nice hammon (wavey temper line that runs the whole way up) hard to tell from the pics, but I don\'t think it\'s been fabricated after using acid etching. The Tsuba (hand guard) looks pretty impressive too. Did you get any history of the sword from the seller? Where it came from, if it is a replica who made it etc? I\'d be curious to know, and if you\'d consider a trade at all let me know and I\'ll get a list of stuff together!
