Those marks are on the top of all the old man masks. I had them too and asked Rusty about it... mine looked like huge moles.

I think those marks are remnnats of a seam. There cast different than latex masks..injected in the back of the head in the mold. So there\'s no seam line like in a latex mask..just a tiny spot in the back

I always wondered why when a mask like this is sold, the display head stand is never included???,, guess they keep for other masks <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"blink.gif\" /> .. It dont help a lot to have just mask and not the stand, but just my opinion !Great mask! <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/happy.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"happy.gif\" />

I don't even leave mine on a display, i just lay it flat in a bag. They look way better on someone anyway, not really a display piece.
