so with the release of this movie just a day away, i thought i'd see what you all are thinking about it?i am a huge fan of Stephen King's work so i'll be definitely seeing this one, looks like it'll be pretty creepy... even though i havent actually read the short story, haha..but ya, anyways, whatcha think?

It was a nice short story in his last short story book in Everything's Eventual. Seems to follow the story pretty good and I hope they keep the ending the same. I'll def be seeing it as I'm both a Cusack and King fan.

Elizabeth and I are going to check it out either tonight or tomorrow. I think it looks like it might actually be scary which is a real plus for me considering that I haven't seen a real scary movie in a long time now.

I loved this movie!! I definitely suggest going to check it out. <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" /> Wonderful acting and great story (which is to be expected from Steven King, lol). This was a breath of fresh air compared to most of the recent horror movies I've gone to see.

I am a huge SK fan as well liket he rest of you. I HATE reading, and Ive only read two books front to back and that would be IT and Thinner. 1408 was DEFINETLY not what I expected, but it was still good regardless. A lot of twists keep ya on the edge of your seat too. Just when you think the movie is over, its not. Its awesome!

Seen it Sat. was a good movie. Followed the short story fairly well with some changes of course but still a good haunted motel movie. I'd give it 8 out of 10 as well.
