Hey guys, I just repainted an old ressurected I got years ago from JZ. It is not quite as dark as the pics make it look but this is a complete repaint. Before the mask had no shine to it and was a blue gray color...really too blue. Just wanted to know what you thought...I'm no artist and this was all sponge and brush painted. Before<img src=\"http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n181/brent1345/ebay016.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n181/brent1345/ebay018.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />After<img src=\"http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n181/brent1345/ebay022.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n181/brent1345/ebay020.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" /><img src=\"http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n181/brent1345/ebay021.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />

A little dark.looks good, you should touch up the bone areas with some browns, and some more blacks around the eyes.

Yeah it is not as dark in person, but I wanted it darker than it was. Production photos taken with a flash shows the mask light gray, but movie stills show a a dark gray color.<img src=\"http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n181/brent1345/f13-6-8.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />

thats the paintball scene, different from CJ's make up.<img src=\"http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w134/jonscaps/Jason/Part%206/unmasked/BEHIND14.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />Jake is right, Erich Lubatti would do a great job, but I think you did fine.

Why was the paintball scene undermask different from the makeup? I know in several scenes it looks darker gray or almost a brown color (I know the grave scene with CJ's makeup where it is lighter gray, it is so dark it is hard to tell anyway) Is it camera lighting or what? Thanks for advice, I know that I am no artist but I enjoy trying anyway lol.

because a different actor played jason in the paintball scene. all he did was eat on set, so he got fat and didnt fit the role anymore, they fired him on spot when they found CJ. The other actor famously became known as "Fat Jason" because he was fat lol.<img src=\"http://i175.photobucket.com/albums/w134/jonscaps/Jason/Part%206/part6a-041.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />

100% true story. Like savage said, originally Dan Bradley played Jason. In Crystal Lake Memories, it says all he did on set was eat and eat and eat, and eventually he lost his part as Jason... THey happened to stumble apon CJ and thus he became Jason.
