Hey guys. I've got a Freddy mask which is made out of foam rubber.I Think it's from Rubies.I've got it about a year now but he's starting to become sticky and on the left side of his neck holes start to appear <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"mad.gif\" /> <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/down.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"down.gif\" /> <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"confused.gif\" /> And if you slightly stretch the neck the holes will get bigger. This siriously worries me cause i think it's a kick-ass mask <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"dry.gif\" /> Does anyone know how to fix this mask or help it from rotting any further or something like that.????!!!!!!!!Please help me out guys!I Would appreciate it!!!Maurizio

I had a mass produced leatherface mask (not the remake one) and it started to become sticky on one side (along the neck) then the thing just started forming holes all over it.

i would almost suggest sending it to the mask doctor but i don't know if he deals with foam rubber or if it's only latex . either way it doesn't hurt to ask .mike,

sounds like you've been exposing it to sunlight too much or have got grease or something on there that has reacted with the latex foamWe all know that latex wont last forever but once it starts breaking down it time for the bin <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/down.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"down.gif\" /> If you have looked after it proper like cleaning it out and talking it after wearing then as it's a fairly new mask i would consider sending an email to the company with pictures of the problem complaining about the quality <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Huh\" border=\"0\" alt=\"huh.gif\" /> you never know, they might send you a new one <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"wink.gif\" /> worth a try.

Not worth sending to mask doctor..restoration is expensive...Those rubies masks won\'t last long..foam latex just doesn\'t hold up. The curing agent actually keeps curing and it destroys itself.By the way, moving this to the off topic

He's definately less springy and has a somewhat marshmellow feel to the texture, but its totally wearable and really far from trashed.Maybe hes saying something other than foam latex material, because foam latex usually just rips easily which is its worst characteristic

I had the same thing happen to my mass produced leather face, im not sure what to do beside chuck it, or use it as an outside mask like i did at holloween, i made a dummy and put it on him for the last two yrs but it finally turned into like a sticky bubble gum mess, YUCK!!!!!I finally chucked it!!!
may my death bring me little pain and overwelming pleasure
