Ed Gein/bubba Style Paint Up

Hey guys. I did this paint up not too long ago and just wanted to know what you thought about it. This was an unknown pull I got from ebay a couple of years ago, it is super thick. I wanted a "fresh" original take on a skin mask. I put real leather stitching an staples in parts of it. Let me know what you think. I like the leather stitches and the staples. <img src=\"http://forums.NIGHTOWLpro.com/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" /> Very nice touch. The blood on the mask looks a little odd to me, though.

It looks like a skinned face of jason from part 4 with hair. lol. great job its lookin cool.

Just food for thought bro, but I'd HIGHLY suggest losing the bubba teeth. You have to remember...this is a skin mask...teeth are attached to the bone in the skull. It would be absolutely impossible to also get someone's teeth to come out when skinning them and still stay attached to the face skin.Everything else looks good...I too like the leather and staples and also find the blood paint to be a little off but I can't quite put my finger on it. I would also suggest drilling the ears out...since it is a skin mask and you're taking the time to paint it up yourself I'd assume you're trying to make it look as good and realistic as possible...I'd drill the ears out or at least put holes in them to add a certain level of realism. Other than that...great job man and congrats on the paint up.-Joseph

Yeah I am aware that teeth are attached to the skull, the teeth are just taped to the inside, sort of for reference, they are worn with the mask, not an actual part of the mask. I just like to keep them displayed together. Yeah you are right about the ears I had planned to do that, just havent got around to it.
