Well, it could go 2 ways.1) people are sick of remakes, make this something better than a remake. With the HUGE budget they have, dont make it a huge budget movie. Use the money to get a classic look, rent some 80's cars, buy some vintage 80's clothing, etc. Make it something worth watching! or atleast make it a movie non f13 fans will enjoy (whether classic or not)2) make jason a brute beast, where people will be annoyed with how ridiculous jason is in it. piss off the fans, however will make an ok date film..

A lot of people don't make movies JUST for the purpose of making money, they do it because they have a passion for film, and that's what makes a movie good. When you got big greedy companies like this doing remakes, all they care about it the paycheck from the big name they're remaking.

Yes Films are made for money.The Director and people involved may have a passion for the film and try to make the best film possible. No One goes into a film trying to make shit. Even Uwe Boll tries.But All movies are basically made for money.
