I heard this early this afternoon, but wrote it off as another bad joke gone too far, wasn't until I saw it on CNN that I believed it, and shocked I was. He was an amazing young burdgeoning talent, I'd very much enjoyed watching his career, and looked forward to seeing him for years to come, he was a rare talent that was just starting to come into his own. I would be quite shocked and surprised if this came out to be a suicide, I believe accidental will be the ruled cause. I can understand it, which is scary. As an insomniac myself you do get to points where you're not thinking clearly and would do just about anything to get some rest, especially when something is haunting/weighing on you. It's a very cruel injustice and happens more then most know. RIP Heath.

This is a terrible, terrible tragedy. I think the first thing I saw him in is the Patriot. One of my all time favorite war films and partly due to Ledger. Such a great actor. Both the Patriot and Dark Knight will hold a special meaning to me as I'm sure Dark Knight will for all of us. RIP Heath

It's crazy that Brad Renfro just died like a week ago and it got like zero news coverage... now heath Ledger dies and EVERYONE is all over this.... They also just announced that the initial autopsy results have come back inconclusive...

I see Montels point and I agree. Fox News especially is insanely messed up. It has been forever since I have seen a truely unbias news story anywhere. Somethings on PBS and some news paper reporters but not much at all from high profile networks. No matter what it is nowadays someone is trying to push their opinion on everyone else. I thought reporting was supposed to be unbias... present the FACTS of both sides of a story and let the viewer decide. Sadly that doesn't happen anymore. Now all news is just speculation of what might be so that people have their minds made up before they know the whole story or before the story even happens. In this case " How did Heath Ledger die" and they're asking a guy (Montel) who apparently knows Heath Ledger as much or less than you and I. It's one thing to discuss this on a message baord but they're killing it in the news. If I hear one more story about "Britney's Babies" or Britney going to the hospital" my body is gonna crack open and squirrels are gonna jump out. See if that makes the news. Soon as we have enough I'm taking French lessons and moving to Canada.
