Here's a question for everyone. You've seen the quality of work this guy does on fan blades. I happen to have a ceiling fan in my horror room.. but I know most people don't. So the question is, WHAT can this guy paint that would fit in everyone's monster room?? I think he would LOVE the business if we all could figure out a niche for this guy to paint. I can't come up with anything that would appeal to everyone.. so if anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to share them. I'll be in contact with him and hopefuly give him some ideas on how he can add to our collections!ThanksDave

So does anyone else have anything in their rooms that they would like to get custom painted? I was thinking of maybe having him do a shelf unit or something. I mentioned bar stools that someone asked about at HMA to him and was told that shouldn't be a problem. I'm getting ready to send him my 5 blades from my fan and will try and figure out what other Dawn of the Dead characters I want. So far, I'll have him do a zombie Roger, a zombie Stephen, the title with bald head and need to finalize the other two blades. Probably will choose the machete head and airport zombie. Does anyone have any nice pics of the Airport Zombie for reference? Any screen shots? (Is there a screen shot site out there for Dawn?)Anyway, again, if anyone has any ideas for things in their collection room to get painted.. let me know!Thanks!DaveChainsaw9

Well that was the purpose of my other question. If not a ceiling fan.. if not a toilet seat... what else would you love to have custom painted to whatever your favorite horror theme is?Seems like the sky's the limit and I'm surprised more people aren't jumping on the bandwagon here.. so to speak.DaveChainsaw9

For those who may be interested. Mario has painted a Gunnar Leatherface and Michael Myers fan blade to go along with his "Horror Icon" collection. I think it turned out nice!http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...OX:NEWLIST#LISTAlso, I have sent him my fan blades for my Dawn of the Dead work. He's also considering painting canvas (unique Horror, kinda like Mayney did) as well as custom airbrushing some shirts, etc. Again, if anyone has ANYTHING they want custom painted with whatever Horror theme they want, let me know and I'll make sure you get what you want!DaveChainsaw9

Hey Dave. I really hate to bring this up, but the horror fan blades he is showing are PhotoShopped pictures. There are a few other of his auctions that are as well. The Beatles fan blades is really noticeable. I'm sure he is just showing you, the customer, how it COULD look once it is actually painted. I have no doubt he can pull off a nice job because you can see some ACTUAL airbrush art on some of his other auctions. But this one, along with some others are definitely PhotoShopped pictures. Take a look at the Star Wars blades with Yoda, Fett, Stormtrooper and Vader . . . he has posted a PhotoShopped pic of the blades and then the actual airbrushed blades. There is a difference. They look great though, don't get me wrong. He's a great artist. I just wanted to point that out to you and I'm surprised no one else has.

Yeah.. I noticed a few that weren't air brushed. But for me, it wasn't even an issue after seeing how awesome the airbrushed work actually is! Check out the Dawn of the Dead for example! Amazing workin my opinion and if mine turn out like those, I'll be MORE than happy!! Actually, after looking at his store again, most everything there is air brushed and air brushed very nicely!! I don't have any affiliation with Mario.. just hope to be a very happy customer once I get my Dawn of the Dead stuff back. I'm also going to get a Camp Crystal Lake sign from him as well. He's also going to be working with canvas so I'll have to figure out something I'd want on that as well. I'll post pics of my blades once I get them back and will give an honest review on how they look and the whole process.DaveChainsaw9
