I've read enough! My wife will have to wait until Transformers 2 before she sees Shia again!

I'm going in with hope I'll like it. Gonna see it tomorrow night at the Drive-In with my girlfriend. I do like the fact that they brought back Karen Allen from Raiders of the Lost Arc.

Well I'm gonna go see it myself before I pass any judgement on it but so far I've only heard average reviews about it so I'm not holding my breath that I'll like it.

Just got back from it and I gotta say, I liked Indy, the film was pretty decent untill the monkey scene, but then it was not bad again after , until the "Spielberg moment"... fuckin Spielberg gets all the credit for blowing this one IMO. Still, I gotta say I've wasted money on worse stuff....

In my opinion, Lucas blew this one. There's a funny quote from Entertainment Weekly magazine between Steven and George where George just couldn;t understand why Steven wanted to film something when he could just computer generate it in post production. You see, George jest don't git it.

The entire plot of the movie was too far fetched, even for an Indiana Jones flick! I thought at one point they switched over to Spielberg's Close Encounters of the Third Kind for a second.

I liked it. It wasn't raiders, but none of the others are either. It was better than temple of doom, and almost as good as last crusade. I thought that most people would have known what the movie was going to be about the first time they showed the skull, or 10 mins into the film when they open a certain crate. Harrison was great in the role, and I think Shia was brilliant as always.

After which, it's just a hamburger. What am I trying to say? If you were to see the original trilogy first, you'd probably despise this film like most of America. But, on it's own....it's just an average sci-fi film.
