I got mine in 3 weeks from him. But that was a couple years back. Not sure what's on his plate now, but 8 months seems to be a bit off. Just contact him and find out where he stands before putting a order in.

I just received on of Anders VS gloves the other day and it's amazing! The most well-constructed glove I've ever laid eyes upon and held. The blades are as thick as a freaking Buck knife and are very heavy. The soldering is so well done that you couldn't get the blades off if you pryed with a lot of strength. And you could honestly injur someone while wearing one and applying very little force (I can understand why eBay freaked now). I had to hide mine from my cat b/c he kept going near it and trying to play w/ the blades.... almost lost his tongue. lol. These gloves are worth every penny.

His glove quality is amazing, I however did end up waiting for 8 months to get my glove. When the first one came it wasn't made correctly and I had to send it back and have it re-made, however when the second one showed up it was one of the most beautiful gloves I had ever put on and he built it exactly the way that I asked him to which was a major plus.

I whole-heartedly agree with Chad...go with Anders. When I got mine, there were knife marks inside the box like it was trying to bust out, lol. That is one serious glove and incredibly well made. Just email him and ask if you can get it done by October, that's all. It will be well worth it...

I have Anders' VS Hero glove and it is an awesome glove, no doubt! However, I would not hesitate to deal with Mark at Nightmares Unlimited. A great dude to deal and talk with. A more moderately priced glove and you will still receive a very well crafted piece (I own two of this gloves). I say drop them both a line and see where they're at in terms of wait times.

Thanks. The blades are not sharpened are they? I do not want them sharp because I willl be using them at events possibly and only as a prop. I do not plan any killings as of now.

My Anders VS is quite sharp, even the tops of the blades would do some damage.
