Met him at Hampton Beach in New Hampshire, a popular beach near Boston and around where I live. Apparently he wrote he letters later on when she was married and she had to tell him to stop.He was ugly she says but nice at the time.I love Journey too. I'm the type that would sock someone in the face if they made an insulting remark about them haha<!--QuoteEnd</div><!--QuoteEEndCould it be? that Danny D is Part Stevie P?heh

Heard about this awhile back. There's only one Steve Perry but this guy is pretty close.

i watched a few and read some of the comments made under the videos and i honestly don't care wah the looks like as long as he does a good job with the songs and he is doing an amazing job . i really like the fact that they are doing this so it gives another chance to see real music live instead of always having to listen to your CD's and wishing you could've seen them lol . i know it would never happen in a million years but it'd be nice to have Val Kilmer do a Doors concert tour as you all know he did the songs in the movie and i thought that was as close as you'll get to Jim plus he even looks like him and i would die to go to a Doors concert . i just think we need more of that REAL music to come back so all this junk today can learn something from . kinda seems like music has gotten boring and it's all about the huge stages , lights , smoke , and too much money . back then everything was kept simple and it did great just as . mike,

The Doors are one of my favorite bands. They didn't need all the flashy stuff. Their presence and music was the show. Also, Jim didn't whine like singers do now either. lol

He sounds awesome. Don't forget Steve Augeri too. The guy between Perry and Arnel (If you don't count the time Jeff Scott Soto filled in) Augeri was amazing as well. I have their 2001 tour DVD and he is another dead ringer for Perry's vocals.
