Quote:Where is this Crosbys website?  Also I read alot of stuff about Justins amazing work, but I dont see alot of it advertised.  where can I see his newest stuff to order?
    sorry but, Crosby, that\'s funny.

let\'s try to refrain from using the words who makes the best. Replace it with "who do you preffer" This will eliminate people arguing about who is the best. Not to mention we have about four thousand "who is the best threads already"
    thanks

I personally would grab either an H-mask from Cropsy or Justin. David Miller and EfexAlive also does some real good Hockeys IMO.

A guy who works for me purchased a Miller pt.5. You wouldn\'t think that the guy who made the film used mask would make such a sad reproduction. .090 ABS is just too flimsy for a wearable mask IMO.

    thanks for the IMOs Wink

if i\'m not mistaken David Miller worked on some effects for F135
but he was not in charge of making the hockey masks
he just ended up with a mold somehow..correct me if I am wrong.

Witout question Crosby does outstanding work, could be that his buddies help out to, you know, Stills, Nash, and Young. Wink

Big Grin That\'s too funny Trav!!

If I\'m not mistaken, .090 ABS is what they used on most screen masks so if accuracy is what you\'re going for then that\'s the way to go. They feel flimsy, but they are strong...

Sheesh...we should rename this board \"The Hockey Mask Board\". What do you guys think? Sad

I think everyone should go to GOHS message board if they want to talk about hockey masks. Justin doesn\'t even offer them anymore.

    Big Grin
He\'s exactly right, .090 ABS is what all but the JX and FvJ masks were made of, so it is the most accurate. It\'s also the most durable and strongest as well, it get\'s it\'s strenght from it\'s ability to flex, and reform. Jason Zyla actually did an experiment a few years ago, he took fiberglass, resin and .090 ABS mask blanks and hit them with a hammer. The fiberglass mask shattered on impact, the resin mask took about 6 or 7 direct hits before it cracked sevearly, and he got bored hitting the ABS mask. Didn\'t show any sign of cracking or denting.
I do know how you feel though, I was use to resin masks when I got my first ABS, and I actually felt a bit ripped off at first. Then I read up on it and talked to a few guys, and now it\'s tough for me to buy anythign but ABS!

Seriously...his masks get talked about more here than on his own board! I\'m surprised no one posts over there...

And the most talked about of Justin\'s masks aren\'t even on the site like you said. Pretty weird.
