I just use a dark navy blue dress shirt. Can also be slightly lighter as well, as it will darken up with weathering. I do not like Dickies because they are too heavy and hot, and overall just uncomfortable. They feel like wearing sandpaper. When you need to wear a costume for several hours every day for a week, comfort is a must!

I prefer dark blue as it shows weathering and wet spots better, as they become darker they are seen more easily on a lighter backdrop.

Maybe you should make two, one black and the other one's can be navy blue.

Thanks guys. Im not sure how much they will be - it all depends how well they turn out. I guess I will try black and navy blue. Also what was that stuff that makes stuff look wet? Not perma wet, that other stuff!

I use mod podge coated thin, or mixed with 50% water. I still think blue looks better and is more accurate.

Part 8 had a denim blue-jean shirt. You can easily whether it or simply add perma wet to make it appear darker. Here's one I did, but I didn't use perma wet.
